Our History

Super Manufacturing, Inc. began in February 1958, founded by Don Jose Tangconkong with three men producing decorative desk and wall lamps.

From those beginnings the company grew into a leading manufacturer of distribution transformers and electrical equipment, supplying electric cooperatives, private electric companies and contractors nationwide. Its own brand, Wagner Transformer, continues to earn demand on the strength of proven reliability.

Audio-video since 1970

In 1970 the company moved into electronics distribution, and has been the Philippine distributor of Kenwood car audio for more than fifty years, a relationship few distributors in any category can match.

That line has since widened to include premier audio-video brands: Yamaha, Gemini Sound, BIC America, Audio Works and Barkan.

Quality, audited annually

Super Manufacturing, Inc. became ISO 9002 certified in 2001 and has upgraded continuously since, now holding ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Both are subject to annual audit and re-certification — not a one-off badge, but a standard the company is held to every year.
